1:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an elk on Lincoln Avenue near Dream Island Plaza. The elk was gone when officers arrived.

12:06 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's office deputies were called to a report of a runaway child in Steamboat.

2:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of three people who were loitering in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. The people left when officers arrived.

3:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who didn't pay for the gas they pumped in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

7:07 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an assault and burglary in the 200 block of Nancy Crawford Boulevard in Oak Creek. A father and son were arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault, second-degree burglary and menacing after they allegedly attacked two men with wooden boards during an attempted robbery.

8:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a lost iPhone in the 800 block of Howelsen Parkway.

9:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. A group of men that left the gondola had knocked over a table. Police contacted the men, and everything was fine.
