Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken pedestrian in front of a business at the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was taken to detox.
9:32 a.m. Officers were called to an animal complaint at the 1700 block of Brome Drive. By the time officers arrived, Animal Control had taken care of it.
10:14 a.m. Officers were called to a gas skip at a gas station at the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Officers took a report, and the person never returned to pay.
10:28 a.m. Officers were called to a trespassing complaint at the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. People were skiing on the Colorado Mountain College property, and by the time officers arrived, they had left.
12:29 p.m. Officers were called to an animal complaint near the CMC campus. Animal Control took care of it, and no action was taken by police.
2:16 p.m. Officers were called to a harassment complaint at a business at the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Police answered questions for a person.
2:35 p.m. Officers were called to a skier collision at the 2200 block of Après Ski Way. Police assisted Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. with the pair of skiers.
5:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person near Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue. The complaint was about a hitchhiker, and when police arrived, the person was gone.
6:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at a business in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. When police arrived, the person had left.
8:12 p.m. Officers contacted a person near Fish Creek Falls Road and Amethyst Drive and gave them a ride home.
