7:07 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who possibly had overdosed in the 40500 block of Anchor Way.

12:52 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of fraud in the 700 block of Yampa Street. A woman received a cashier's check from a man overseas who wanted to rent her vacation condo. The check was for more than the amount requested, and the woman wired the excess back to the man. The check the woman had deposited was a forgery. She lost about $1,000.

1:15 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of people in the 200 block of River Road.

2:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. A flock of plastic pink flamingos had been placed there overnight as part of a nonprofit fundraiser, and the flamingos were stolen. Police do not have any suspects.

2:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car driving the wrong way at Hilltop Parkway and South Lincoln Avenue. It could not be located.

2:59 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 300 block of Anglers Drive.

4:22 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 2500 block of Cortina Lane. They were fine.

4:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash on South Lincoln Avenue.

5:39 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a gas leak in the 23100 block of Schussmark Trail.

5:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who said someone had screamed at them and threatened to beat them up in Gondola Square.

6:18 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a drunken person at Bud Werner Memorial Library.

6:57 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell at Hayden High School.

7:21 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the first block of 11th Street.

7:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gas stolen from a station in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. The driver was contacted and went back to pay.

8:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who wanted to report that his car had been damaged in the 1700 block of Steamboat Boulevard. The car looked like it had been in an accident, and police think the man had been drinking. Police said the man refused to cooperate and tried to go into his house. While trying to take the man into custody, police said he spit blood at the officers. The 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of felony criminal mischief, DUI, resisting an officer and two counts of third-degree assault.

10:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that had been heavily damaged in the 2100 block of Pine Grove Road. Windows had been smashed and the car had been keyed.

10:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of guests at a rental property who found a gun in their unit. The gun was retrieved.

10:58 p.m. Officers were called to help a man looking for his daughter. While looking for the daughter, they contacted a man in a car at 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police thought he was under the influence of something. The 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance. On the way to the jail, police said the man was doing somersaults in the back seat of the police car and scratching himself because he thought spiders were crawling on him.
