— Steamboat Springs snowboarder Nik Baden posted two more strong results Thursday in the two of the final three U.S. Grand Prix slope-style events at Mammoth, Calif. Baden came out of the competition with sixth- and seventh-place finishes.

After crashing hard in the first event, Shaun White won the second competition with a score of 95.20, officially wrapping up his spot in slope-style at the 2014 Olympics.

The events counted as the third and fourth of five qualifying events for the Olympics. Baden, one of the youngest competitors in the events, is 10th in the standings. The highest he could finish at this point is fifth.
