— Steamboat’s Lennon Vaughan led the way for Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club skiers last weekend at a USSA freestyle skiing competition in Vail.

Vaughan won a pair of half-pipe competitions Saturday, then came back a day later in nasty weather to place second in a slope-style competition. Robby Brown, also skiing with the club, was 11th in Sunday’s slope-style event.
