US skiers load top 10 at freestyle World Cup

They only got one on the podium, but Americans crowded into the top 10 Saturday at the second of two World Cup freestyle skiing events at Deer Valley, Utah.

Hannah Kearney won for the second time in the weekend while Steamboat Springs skier Eliza Outtrim was fourth, Vail’s Heidi Kloser was fifth and Steamboat’s Sophia Schwartz was seventh.

Ali Kariotis finished ninth, Mikaela Matthews was 16th and Keaton McCargo was 31st. On the men’s side, the Canadians took the top two spots with Alex Bilodeau in first and Mikael Kingsbury in second. Patrick Deneen was fourth, Sho Kashima was sixth, Dylan Walczyk was 20th, Bruce Perry was 21st, Joseph Discoe was 22nd, Jeremy Cota was 34th and David DiGravio was 37th.
