Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:16 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of people being loud in the 2700 block of Village Drive. A warning was issued.
2:59 a.m. Officers investigated a suspicious person around a business in the 100 block of Ninth Street. They think it was an employee.
3 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.
5:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash at Mount Werner Road and South Lincoln Avenue. A vehicle crashed into a light pole and took it down. Police are looking for what they think is a Ford truck with extensive damage. There were nine other accidents reported during the day, but no serious injuries were reported.
10:14 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. A person heard loud crashing coming from outside their condo. An unclothed woman was running around in the hallway and breaking plates. The 55-year-old woman was not supposed to be drinking, and she was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct, violation of a protection order, violation of bond conditions and third-degree assault.
12:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 3000 block of Village Drive. A woman reported a neighbor swerved his car in the parking lot and and almost hit her. The man was given a summons to appear in court for harassment.
1:08 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with breathing difficulty in the 600 block of Tamarack Drive.
1:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1800 block of Hunters Drive who wanted to report a scam.
2:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman in the 1100 block of Bangtail Way who wanted to report losing a purse.
2:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a license plate stolen off a car in the 900 block of Pine Street sometime between Dec. 30 and Jan. 5.
3:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost an iPhone somewhere between the base area and Aprés Ski Way.
4:39 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person who had not shown up for work.
4:44 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about a driver at Hilton Lane and Routt County Road 14. A 54-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and careless driving.
7:19 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 200 block of North Poplar Street.
7:30 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fainted in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Circle.
9:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a resident adviser who wanted to report a Colorado Mountain College student had marijuana. The student was given a ticket for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
