Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:33 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person at a hotel in the 2700 block of Village Drive who had a cellphone stolen.

8:41 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a gas leak in the 300 block of Anglers Drive.

9:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car crash at Indian Trails and Lincoln Avenue. A person had minor injuries, and a driver was given a ticket for driving too fast for conditions.

1:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a neighbor who thought someone was living in a motorhome at Ninth and Pine streets.

2:42 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a two-car crash in the 33200 block of Painted Pony Lane. There were no injuries, but the airbags deployed in one of the cars.

3:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a 56-year-old woman who was skiing with her husband, and she was hit by another skier, who then skied away. The woman was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with suspected femur and pelvis injuries, and the skier could not be found.

5:51 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 1400 block of Blake Lane.

6:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who heard what sounded like three gunshots at Tamarack Drive and Hilltop Parkway. The source of the noise could not be found.

7:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who lost a fake snakeskin purse. The purse was located.

7:39 p.m. Officers were called to check on a young girl playing near the street at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. She was gone when officers arrived.

8:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at a church in the 500 block of Oak Street. A person reported finding a man who was drunk or high in a stairwell. The man reportedly said he was “going to feed the magpies and Jesus was going to save the world." Police contacted the man, and the church had given him permission to be there.

9:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of drunken woman who was passed out on stairs in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. She was taken to detox.

11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza.

11:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a child who was bit by a family dog in the 2600 block of Abbey Court.

11:31 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.
