8:06 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called by a mom who reported her juvenile son had stolen her vehicle. Officers tried to stop the same car Saturday night for a traffic violation, but the driver did not stop and drove out of the city. Police learned Monday that the juvenile boy was taken into custody in Nebraska on suspicion of stealing the car and was being transported back to Routt County.

10:46 a.m. Officers were called to a report of people who were horsing around and laying in the road at Apres Ski Way and Village Drive. The people were gone when officers arrived.

11:45 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a wedding ring valued at $1,000 at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. The ring was found in a snow bank Monday and was returned to the owner.

1:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 300 block of Little Moon Trail. A person saw footprints in the snow that seemed suspicious. Officers determined nothing was out of place, and everything was OK.

7:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of teenagers who were smoking in a car parked in the first block of East Spruce Street. Police were unable to find the car.
