Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:15 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a fight at a bus stop. Someone from Steamboat Springs Transit reported a fight on the bus with four people involved, but when police arrived, the parties had dispersed.
2:17 a.m. Officers were called to a noise complaint at the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. About a dozen people were making noise in an alley behind a Lincoln Avenue business, and when police arrived, they were gone.
2:11 p.m. Officers were called to an animal complaint at the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A couple dogs had gotten into a fight, and animal control officers handled it.
2:56 p.m. Officers were called to an animal complaint near Après Ski Way and Longthong Road. Animal control officers handled the barking dogs.
4:21 p.m. Someone found a wallet in a parking lot at the 1700 block of Central Park Drive. The wallet was returned to its owner.
6:58 p.m. Officers were called to a criminal mischief complaint at the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. A hotel employee complained that a tenant had damaged property in the room.
7:13 p.m. Officers were called to a disturbance at the 800 block of Howelsen Parkway. There was a dispute during Winter Carnival festivities, and police were unable to locate the party.
9:07 p.m. Officers were called to an animal complaint at the 3100 block of Elk RIver Road. Police contacted the party and advised them to walk with their dog on a leash because it was getting into traffic.
