Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken man walking down the road in a T-shirt in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. He could not be located.

1:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man yelling vulgarities at a doorman at a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street. He was told to leave the bar.

7:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that drove through a school bus stop sign. A citation was issued.

10:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a lost diamond from a ring at a church in the 500 block of Oak Street.

11:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a purse found in the first block of 10th Street. It was returned to the owner.

11:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a handgun with ammunition found while someone was cleaning a condo in the 700 block of Majestic Circle. A guest had left it there.

11:52 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a gas leak in the 800 block of Mill Run Court.

3:30 p.m. Yampa Valley Regional Airport firefighters were called to help with a fuel spill.

6:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of $20 in gas stolen from a station in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza.

8:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a business owner who wanted to report a car doing donuts and racing across a property in the 1900 block of Loggers Lane.

When will be the first time that the police will be called to help a stoned person doing anything?? Don't hold your breath.
