Business briefs: School supply drive underway

Local businesses and organizations again are hoping to garner tubs and tubs full of donated school supplies to give to area students.

The Colorado Student Care School Supply Drive will collect supplies Aug. 22 to 24 and Aug. 29 to Sept. 1 at the front entrance of Walmart here in Steamboat Springs.

Free food and free drinks will be offered, and the drive will benefit Routt County Schools.



Supplies also can be dropped off at the Steamboat Springs Edward Jones Branch at 1815 Central Park Drive now through Aug. 31.

Rustic Woodworks gets new name

Rustic Woodworks in Steamboat Springs is adopting a new name as part of a rebranding effort.

The design, cabinetry and millwork company now is VAUSSA (pronounced Vah-Suh), which means looking forward.
