9:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person who lost an iPhone 5 in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road. The person called police back 10 minutes later to report they had found the phone.
12:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who had tipped over and damaged some flower pots in the 700 block of Yampa Street.
4:25 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a dog that had been left in a vehicle for a while at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. The vehicle and the dog were gone before officers arrived.
8:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man staggering in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive. The man was given a ride home.
10:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 500 block of Wyatt Way. A neighbor believed there was a disturbance going on across the street, but police determined there was not a disturbance.
11:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had broken a window at a residence in the 700 block of Yampa Street. A witness at a nearby restaurant reported a man with a baseball hat broke the window. The witness was able to later identify the suspect. After further investigation, officers arrested a man who was found nearby the residence on suspicion of criminal mischief, second degree burglary, first degree criminal trespass and theft. The owner of the residence told police the suspect had attempted to break into his place earlier in the day. The man said the suspect had stolen two hatchets from his unlocked vehicle and attempted to break into his residence to steal a bag of money.
