Police, fire and ambulance calls

6:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man staggering in traffic in the 2500 block of Lincoln Avenue. He was taken to detox.

10:07 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who thought a tin roof was going to blow off an abandoned log home in the 1200 block of Manitou Avenue.

10:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1400 block of Steamboat Boulevard whose credit card was used fraudulently.

10:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person throwing a cigarette out a car window at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street.

10:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an abandoned car in the 1300 block of Manitou Avenue.

11:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a trash ordinance violation in the 1300 block of Indian Trails. A written warning was given.

1:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver tailgating and using obscene gestures at Fish Creek Falls Road and Amethyst Drive. The car could not be located.

2:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a fast food restaurant in the 600 block of Snapdragon Way. A transient man reportedly was upset, was shaking his fists, hit a car window in the drive-thru and dislodged the window from its track. He was given a summons for criminal mischief.

3:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man acting odd at the Stock Bridge Transit Center.

5:50 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 1000 block of Crawford Avenue.

8:52 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 500 block of Willow Bend.

9:36 p.m. Officers stopped a car that was being driven 60 mph westbound on Lincoln Avenue at 13th Street. The 27-year-old man driving the car was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

10:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud screaming in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. A warning was given.

11:40 p.m. Officers contacted a man running from a bus at Lincoln Avenue and Dream Island Plaza. Everything was fine.
