Police, fire and ambulance calls
3:37 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to help a man in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The man said he could not get in his car, and his keys were not working. The man also wanted police to help him break out the front window to his home. The man thought he had been drugged, and he was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
3:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of loud noise and banging on the wall in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive. A warning was given.
8:01 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver illegally passing and tailgating near mile marker 129 on U.S. Highway 40. The driver could not be located.
10:09 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a drunken man in the first block of Anglers Drive.
2:52 p.m. A person came to the police department to report someone had filed taxes using their information.
4:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 100 block of 11th Street. Police think an office was burglarized.
5:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man in someone’s yard in the 1500 block of Meadow Lane. He was given a ride home.
5:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who saw five children in a car without seat belts on in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. They were gone when officers arrived.
7:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who was jogging and was bitten by a dog on the leg in the 800 block of Pahwintah Street. A citation was issued to the dog owner.
8:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person going toward Old Fish Creek Falls Road. The person could not be located.
