3:28 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken person at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police contacted the person and determined he was fine.
10:02 a.m. Officers were called to a report of possible identity fraud at a cell phone store in the 1700 block of Central Park Drive. A person had opened up a fraudulent cell phone account.
10:04 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle that was possibly stolen and parked in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. Police determined the vehicle had not been stolen.
10:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a pit bull that attacked a golden retriever in the 900 block of Crawford Avenue. The owner of the pit bull was issued a citation.
10:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who left a cell phone in an ambulance following a car crash. The phone was returned to its owner.
12:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive. Police said a man physically attacked his neighbor during an argument. The man was arrested on suspicion of third degree assault.
7:30 p.m. Deputies and Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear in the 32000 block of Routt County Road 24.
8:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. A Steamboat Springs Transit driver reported several people were fighting on a bus. Police mediated the fight.
