Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:18 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of people smoking at a hotel property in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane.

8:51 a.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a rollover accident near mile marker 46 on Colorado Highway 131. The driver was not injured, and a dog was rescued from inside the cab of the pickup.

10:05 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a woman who fell off a golf cart and hurt her head in the 1200 block of Steamboat Boulevard.

1:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at Bud Werner Memorial Library. Officers helped the transient man find a place to stay for the night.

2:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person playing an electric keyboard loudly at Gilpin Court and Manitou Avenue.

2:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who was receiving harassing text messages.

2:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 3000 block of Aspen Leaf Way who wanted to report someone had filed taxes using the caller's information.

2:30 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a theft in the 21700 block of Third Avenue in Phippsburg.

2:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car speeding and running stop signs on Hunters Drive.

3:20 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a theft near mile marker 13 on Routt County Road 179.

3:59 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in a meat room at a deli in the 1000 block of Yampa Street.

4:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an 18-year-old man who stole two packs of gum from a convenience store in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. The business did not want to pursue charges.

5:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a road rage incident at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue. A man got out of a car, approached a male driver and said, “drive safe, man.” The man also reportedly grabbed the car window and kept it from rolling up. Officers could not find the upset driver.

8:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of what sounded like gunshots in the area of the 400 block of Mountain Vista Circle. Officers think it was fireworks.

8:57 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a man in the 2300 block of Lincoln Avenue. He was fine.

9:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fireworks in the Hilltop Parkway area. The source of the fireworks could not be found.

10:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car driving on the wrong side of the road with no headlights at Elk River Road and Lincoln Avenue. The car could not be found.

11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music and voices in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. The people were told to be quiet.
