Colorado Senate President John Morse and Sen. Angela Giron, of Pueblo, both Democrats, were thrown out of office for their support of the new unconstitutional Colorado gun control laws. Their attack on the Second Amendment was done in spite of overwhelming opposition by their constituents.
Like our own “representative” Diane Mitsch Bush, Morse and Giron thought of themselves as our rulers, rather than our agents. As elected officials, their job is not to run our lives but to protect our individual rights codified in the Constitution. They forgot their place and deserved to be fired for cause, as should Mitsch Bush in the next election cycle. We need a representative that honors their oath of office.
