Consideration for a waiver of the purchasing process and approval of agreement with CTL Thompson to conduct pavement condition surveys:

Request for approval of an agreement with CTL Thompson to conduct distress surveys. These surveys are conducted every two years and the data is use to help rank the condition of the county paved roads and prioritize the roads for maintenance. The data is input into the county's Pavement Management System (PIMS), which was developed by CTL Thompson.

To maintain consistency with the system, the survey locations and the survey methods, we request to waive the purchasing process and use CTL Thompson as a sole source, per section 3.02 of the Purchasing Manual bullet No. 4.

Discussion on oversize/overweight weekend restrictions:

Discussion to consider a request to allow Oversize/Overweight weekend travel and if exceptions to the current Restrictions should be permitted.

Items of routine and noncontroversial nature are placed on the consent agenda to allow the Routt County Board of Commissioners to spend its time and energy on more important items on a lengthy agenda. Any commissioner may request that an item be pulled from the consent agenda and considered separately. Any member of the public may request any item be pulled from the consent agenda.
