Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:32 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a deer that needed to be euthanized at Riverside Plaza and Lincoln Avenue.

5:58 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 2500 block of Longthong Road.

8:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of $80 taken from an unlocked car Sunday night in the 1300 block of Delta Queen Court.

8:20 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a man who fell about 30 feet while working on a utility pole. The man was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center and was not seriously injured.

9:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged by an unknown car in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:36 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man sleeping at a campsite that he had not paid for in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. He was given a written warning and escorted off the property.

12:53 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 1600 block of Mid Valley Drive.

1:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who stole a box of pain medication from a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The woman also reportedly tried to steal chicken, but it would not fit in her bag, so she put it back.

2:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a full-suspension mountain bike found at the Howelsen Ice Arena.

3:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two male drivers arguing at JD Hays Way and Pine Grove Road. They were gone when officers arrived.

5:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza who wanted to report a fraud. A house listed for sale had been fraudulently listed for rent on Craigslist.

5:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a mother who could not find her 6-year-old son after school. The mother was confused about what day it was. She thought it was Monday, which is when the child goes to an after-school program. The boy got a ride from the person who he was supposed to get a ride from Tuesdays and was fine.

5:57 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of neighbors who were having an argument about fence lines and cattle in the 6100 block of Routt County Road 74A near Hayden.

6:12 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 61400 block of Hill Street.

7:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that had been driven off the road near 13th Street and Shield Drive. The 20-year-old male driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

8:55 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a vehicle complaint near mile marker 142 on U.S. Highway 40. A warning was given.

9:26 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of an accident in the 60800 block of C.R. 129. A car hit a cow, and no one was hurt. The cow’s condition was unknown.

11:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that hit a gas line in the 200 block of Walton Creek Road. The gas was turned off.
