Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:44 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of graffiti in the 800 block of Oak Street. Police followed other cases of graffiti to a home on Merritt Street, and they found a pumpkin decorated with similar graffiti. Police contacted a 22-year-old man who lived there, and he admitted to spraying the graffiti. The man was arrested on suspicion of felony criminal mischief.

12:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a snowboard that was missing from inventory at a business in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. It was found at a second-hand store.

2:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of cars parked illegally in the 700 block of Lithia Springs Road.

5:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a former student trespassing at Colorado Mountain College. The 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of harassment, second-degree trespassing, criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance. Police said he had pills in his pocket.

8:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who said he or she was cut off by a driver using a cellphone at Hilltop Parkway and South Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be found.

10:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 500 block of Anglers Drive.

11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a pedestrian crossing sign damaged at Yampa and Ninth streets.
