Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:32 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance at Colorado Mountain College. A female was given a summons for minor in possession of alcohol.

5:21 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the first block of Anglers Drive.

11 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a ladder stolen from a construction site in the 1700 block of Saddle Creek Court.

1:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The driver was contacted, and he was not drunk.

4:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an accident at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue. Three people were taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center and released. A 35-year-old woman involved in the accident was found dead at home the next day. It was not immediately known how she died.

5:01 p.m. During shift change at the police station, multiple officers saw a man urinating on a building in the alley. He was given a ticket for urinating in public and then released to a sober friend. He was taken to detox about four hours later.

6:18 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 100 block of Hillside Drive.

9:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear at Downhill Drive and Lincoln Avenue.

9:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 500 block of Anglers Drive. A mother and her adult son were arguing.

11:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person behind a bar in the first block of Seventh Street. The 30-year-old man was upset because the Red Sox lost Game 2 of the World Series. He was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
