Police, fire and ambulance calls

4:42 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a fire at the Milner Trailer Park. Cardboard on a deck had caught fire, and the homeowners put the fire out before firefighters arrived.

5:54 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of what sounded like a .22-caliber gunshot in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The source of the noise could not be found.

9:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue. A city worker said a bicyclist told him he rode by someone on the Yampa River Core Trail and said hello, and the man showed a knife. Officers could not find the man or the bicyclist.

10:05 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. He was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center and then detox.

11:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a former employee who stole computer files in the 700 block of Oak Street.

3:20 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a gas leak in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a debit card found at Lincoln Avenue and 12th Street.

4:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of items missing from a car that had been towed from the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.

7:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car alarm going off on Hilltop Parkway.

7:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting in the 1800 block of Central Park Plaza. A female went into a business with an empty backpack, and she tried to leave with a full backpack.

8:55 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Road.

11:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gunshots at Stehley Park. It was bottle rockets.
