Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:38 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear in the 800 block of Weiss Circle.

5:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient woman yelling on the Yampa River Core Trail and disturbing people trying to sleep at a motel in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. She was asked to be quiet.

8:13 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

8:45 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone going through an unlocked car at Yampa and Eighth streets. It did not appear as though anything was missing.

1:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of items found at a bar in the first block of Seventh Street.

1:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 800 block of Pine Street. A woman went to her carport and found skis that were not hers and an American flag draped over a bike.

1:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike found near Fetcher Park.

2:10 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a gas leak at Eighth and Pine streets.

2:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike found in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

3:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a truck weaving at Elk River Road and Lincoln Avenue. It could not be found.

4:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that drove past a school bus stop sign at Chinook Lane and Willowbrook Court. It could not be found.

6:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of 15 cars parked and creating a traffic hazard at Rollingstone and Anglers drives.

7:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle complaint outside a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A female driver said a man driving a minivan would not move so the female could not leave her parking spot. The man then got out and yelled at the female. The man could not be found.

9:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. Four males were told to be quiet.

10:01 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem in the 1600 block of Woodbridge Court.

10:08 p.m. The Routt County coroner was called to a report of a 96-year-old woman who had died of natural causes in the 37100 block of William William.
