Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:15 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 70 block of Anglers Drive. A person thought someone was trying to break into his or her house. A tree had fallen onto the roof.
1:23 a.m. Officers were called to a suspicious incident in the Brooklyn neighborhood. The person had heard two large explosions. Two transformers had blown.
8:40 a.m. Officers were called to a vehicle complaint on Elk River Road. A vehicle was passing in a no-passing zone. It was gone when officers got to the area.
8:44 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a missing person in the 800 block of Yampa Street. A lady had reported her son missing. Officers later were contacted by Saguache County, where the man was found.
11:03 a.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in Steamboat. A person was receiving harassing phone messages from an ex. The incident is being investigated.
2:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of theft in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Deposit bags were stolen and about $700 was gone. The incident is under investigation.
