Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:29 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a man pushing a shopping cart down the street at Mount Werner Road and South Lincoln Avenue. He was fine.

8:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A woman reported someone called her and said she needed to accept a package or she would be fined.

9:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two cars blocking the entrance to the lower Knoll Parking Lot.

10:49 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain at Routt County Road 42 and U.S. Highway 40.

12:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting at a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Someone had put food items, including steaks and a rack of lamb, in his or her backpack. A summons was issued to appear in court.

1:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the first block of Butcherknife Alley. A woman learned someone had cashed a check using her driver's license.

2:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of theft in the 1600 block of Natches Way. A resident reported someone stole $4,000 worth of silverware and dinnerware in late September or October.

3:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle complaint at Central Park Drive and Pine Grove Road. Someone was hanging out of a car and yelling. The car could not be found.

4:44 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 100 block of South Spruce Street.

5:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of woman who lost a wallet, possibly at a bus stop.

6:12 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a drunken woman in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Circle.

8:58 p.m. West Routt firefighters were called to help a person who was bleeding in the 400 block of South Poplar Street.
