Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:21 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to perform a welfare check in the 500 block of Rollingstone Drive. A life alert alarm was activated.

3:27 a.m. A person turned a CD case in to officers.

8:50 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 22000 block of Routt County Road 54. A horse trailer had slid off the road.

9:42 a.m. Officers were called to perform a welfare check in Steamboat Springs. A woman called to report that she had not been able to reach her son. Offices made contact with the man, and everything was fine.

11:05 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 80 block of Anglers Drive. An employee was arrested.

11:17 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the 2400 block of Val D’Isere Circle. A person called to report tire tracks and a damaged tree in his or her front yard. Officers could not locate a car related to the incident.

12:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 300 block of Pine Street. A car was damaged.

12:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a cellphone stolen in early November in the 700 block of Yampa Street.

2:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of wildlife in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A person called to report a cow moose and its calf were in the area near Safeway. They both reportedly left along the creek bed.

4:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in 2100 block of Curve Plaza. A parked car was hit.

5:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of identity theft in the 2300 block of Val D’Isere Circle.
