Police, fire and ambulance calls
8:59 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a report of fraud in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. A resident reported that checks had been cashed from an account that had a hold on it. Officers took a report.
10:32 a.m. Officers responded to a suspicious incident in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. An employer wanted police to help mediate a dispute with an employee. Officers took a report.
10:42 a.m. Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle at Ninth and Pine streets. A motor home was parked downtown. The owner was contacted and told to park elsewhere.
2:29 p.m. Officers responded to a suspicious incident in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers contacted people in a car in a parking lot. There was no problem.
4:33 p.m. Officers responded to a drug violation in the 1000 block of Anglers Drive. Officers received a call about people in a car smoking marijuana. The people were contacted, and the report was unfounded.
4:35 p.m. Officers responded to a vehicle complaint in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A tractor trailer was parked with a portion of the trailer in the road creating a potential traffic hazard. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.
