Steamboat Springs Police, fire and ambulance calls
7:55 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Routt County Road 129. The driver was coming into town and lost control of her vehicle when the sun was in her eyes. Officers took a report.
11:44 a.m. Officers responded to a report of fraud in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A clerk called about a counterfeit $20 bill. Officers were able to track the person who used the bill. The person told officers he or she got the bill in Denver as change. Officers took a report.
1:02 p.m. Officers responded to a report of trespassing in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The owner of a motel called and reported a city vehicle was doing maintenance but was on his property. Officers took a report.
2:39 p.m. Officers responded to a vehicle complaint in on Yampa Street. A person said the car that parked after him or her was touching the caller's car. The car also was in violation of a private driveway. Officers issued a parking ticket.
8:48 p.m. Officers responded to a theft in the 1300 block of Blue Sage Drive. Two roommates said their third roommate was stealing food and alcohol from them. Officers took a report.
10:21 p.m. Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in Steamboat. A man’s former girlfriend reportedly came to his condo and damaged the door. She was arrested.
