Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:23 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to a stolen vehicle complaint at the 400 block of Eighth Street. As officers arrived, the vehicle was pulling back up to where it was left, and officers said there was miscommunication between friends.
12:36 a.m. Officers responded to a complaint of a loud party at the 600 block of Mountain Vista Circle. There was loud music and yelling. Officers contacted the residents and a warning was issued.
2:20 a.m. Officers responded to property found at a business at the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A blue purse and an iPhone were found.
8:46 a.m. Officers responded to an animal complaint at the 100 block of Maple Street. A dog was running at large and officers were unable to find it.
9:13 a.m. Officers responded to an animal complaint on Routt County Road 7A. A cat was found and dropped off at the shelter.
11:23 a.m. Officers responded to a hit-and-run crash at the 500 block of Buena Vista Court. Sometime during the night, a car had knocked over two street signs and fled the scene.
11:49 a.m. Officers responded to an animal complaint at a business at the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A dog was running at large but officers were unable to find it.
12:35 p.m. Officers responded to a fraud complaint at the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. A woman reported she was receiving fraudulent phone calls from a pharmaceutical company. It turned out the fraud complaint was unfounded because the company was a legitimate company.
3:57 p.m. Officers responded to a fraud complaint at the 600 block of Yahmonite Street. A woman said she received an email for a job posting three or four months ago. Someone told her she got a job that wasn't legitimate.
5:56 p.m. Officers responded to property lost at the corner of Fish Creek Falls Road and Tamarack Drive. A lost wallet was reported. It still has not been found.
5:56 p.m. Officers responded to property found at Walton Pond Circle. A Colorado ID card was found. The owner hasn't been found.
6:25 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance at the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Two men reportedly ran at a woman's vehicle and hit her back window a few times. The men cursed at the woman and left the area. The suspects were not located.
