Police, fire and ambulance calls

3:07 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a crash near mile marker 124 on U.S. Highway 40.

8:04 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 32600 block of Routt County Road 35.

8:28 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Routt County Roads 129 and 62.

8:35 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the first block of East Spruce Street. A woman went outside and found a small safe that looked like it had been opened. She found out that a friend had dropped it off.

8:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to report a neighbor who was blowing snow on the caller's driveway in the 100 block of Missouri Avenue. A warning was issued.

9:22 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person putting snow in the street in the 1100 block of Oak Street.

10:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person in distress at a motel in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:03 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

11:14 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who might have overdosed in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road.

11:25 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person illegally putting trash in a Dumpster in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue.

12:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a backpack in the Steamboat area.

1:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who tried to break into a storage room at a hotel in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. The person was not successful.

3:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who felt threatened by the way she was reprimanded by a man for walking a dog in a park where dogs are not allowed in the 1300 block of Indian Trails.

Wow. Cops sure do take a lot of dumb calls....8:43, 9:22 and 3:13 are a little out there.

11:14am.... Is this same person that keeps OD-ing in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Rd. What gives? This is not the 1st time. And OD-ing on what??
