Police, fire and ambulance calls

4:38 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about a box truck parked and running at a hotel entrance in the 3200 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

7:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was upset about a neighbor removing snow onto the street in the 1500 block of Natches Way. The neighbor was warned not to put snow into the street.

7:26 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a crash near mile marker 114 on U.S. Highway 40. Five other crashes were reported during the day, but no major injuries were reported.

9:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car parked badly at Seventh and Oak streets.

9:53 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a business owner who said $4,000 in cash had been taken out of his car somewhere in Steamboat a couple of months ago. The business owner was just getting around to reporting the missing money.

10:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to report carved pumpkins missing from a deck in the 500 block of Gilpin Street.

11:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of graffiti on a window at a church in the 700 block of Oak Street.

1:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to report getting into a car crash at about midnight on Halloween on Alpenglow Way.

3:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of trash in the road at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

4:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car headed toward Steamboat on U.S. 40 that was weaving in and out of traffic. It could not be found.

4:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver who might have hit a car at Central Park Drive and Pine Grove Road. The car could not be found.

6:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 500 block of Anglers Drive. It was an ongoing issue, and a ticket was issued.

6:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man being belligerent toward other customers at a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The manager reported that the man was refusing to leave. Police escorted him out of the bar.

8:14 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a gas leak in the 200 block of Lincoln Street.

10:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car at a car dealership in the 1900 block of Curve Court. The car was parked and its engine was on.

11:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight at a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man reportedly was hitting on another man’s wife. They men exchanged words, and the husband was hit by the man. The husband did not want to cooperate with police, and the 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
