Police, fire and ambulance calls

6:49 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear in the 2500 block of Val D’Isere Circle.

8:10 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two females arguing in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. They were told not to talk to each other.

8:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of cars that someone had gone through in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane. Nothing was missing.

9:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a lost wallet in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

9:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man panhandling at a grocery store in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. He later was told not to return to the property.

10:12 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a woman who was in labor near mile marker 98 on U.S. Highway 40. She was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center in time to give birth.

11:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of check fraud in the 2300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a customer who was upset and broke a door hinge at a business in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza. The person was told not to return to the business.

3:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who stole gas from a station in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. The license plate number was not seen, and officers could not find the car.

3:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who stole gas from a station in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. The license plate number was not seen, and officers could not find the car.

5:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a mother who wanted an officer to talk to her child about shoplifting in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

6:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A summons was issued.

6:34 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies and West Routt firefighters were called to a report of a car that hit a deer near mile marker 112 on U.S. 40. No one was hurt.

8:36 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about a car at Stagecoach State Park. The person said a car shined its lights on them when they were coming out of the bathroom.
