Police, fire and ambulance calls

9:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a pickup that was partially parked on the sidewalk at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

9:51 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a cyclist who almost caused a car accident near mile marker 53 on Colo. Highway 131. The cyclist could not be located.

10:44 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen in the first block of Sequoia Court. The bike had been borrowed by the owner’s friend.

11:49 p.m. Officers were called to help security officers at the Steamboat Ski Area give a trespassing warning to a man being held in Routt County Jail on suspicion of indecent exposure.

12:19 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of children left alone in a car in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The car was gone when officers arrived.

2:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who had her purse stolen at a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The purse was later found, and prescription drugs were missing.

2:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who flipped off another driver at Downhill Drive and West End Avenue. The driver could not be found.

5:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane.

6:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of drug activity at Bear River Skatepark. No one was there when officers arrived.

9 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 200 block of Locust Court. A citation was issued.

10:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about loud music at Steamboat Springs High School. Students were watching a movie outside, and they were asked to quiet down.

10:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a Dumpster in the 100 block of 11th Street.

11:07 p.m. Officers contacted a man in the 800 block of Yampa Street and gave a verbal warning for urinating in public.

11:28 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with a head injury in the 2400 block of Ski Trail Lane.

11:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a Dumpster in the first block of Jackpine Court. It could not be found.
