Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear running down a median at Mount Werner Road and South Lincoln Avenue. It was scared away.

12:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 500 block of Anglers Drive. It was a cleaning crew.

1:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 200 block of Sixth Street.

2:33 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who heard a woman screaming at Fifth and Pine streets. The woman could not be found.

7:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an accident that occurred about four hours earlier on Steamboat Boulevard. The driver reported swerving to avoid a bear. The car rolled and went about 50 feet into a ditch. The driver was given a summons for careless driving and for leaving the scene of an accident.

8:18 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury accident in the 100 block of 11th Street.

9:44 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a fence that had been damaged in the 3000 block of Village Drive.

10:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of $400 in medical marijuana taken from a condo in the 3000 block of Village Drive.

11:55 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 58100 block of Jupiter Place in Clark.

1:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a doctor in the 300 block of Blue Sage Circle who had his or her Social Security number used on another person's tax returns.

2:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who passed a bad check in the 1000 block of Yampa Street.

2:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who tried to withdraw $4,500 from a business’s account in the 1600 block of Mid Valley Drive.

2:47 p.m. A person came to the police station and said his or her Social Security number had been used on another person's taxes. The victim was not a doctor.

4:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a cellphone stolen from the first block of Highland Circle.

4:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a $1,000 scooter taken from the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

4:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an aggressive driver in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

4:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary at a condo in the 2200 block of Storm Meadows Drive. The condo had gone through foreclosure. Light fixtures, end tables and paintings valued at less than $1,000 were missing.

5:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of $83 in gas stolen from a station in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

5:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a $1,200 kayak stolen from near Bud Werner Memorial Library.

5:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bag with a small amount of cocaine found at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

6:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a one-car, noninjury accident in the 600 block of Anglers Drive.

9:47 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem in the 2500 block of Melrose Lane.

11:43 p.m. Officers were called to a noise complaint in the 3100 block of Chinook Lane. A warning was given.
