Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of condo guests who said his or her car doors had been opened overnight in the 2800 block of Burgess Creek Road. It appeared someone got into the car.

9:39 a.m. Officers contacted two people who were skateboarding on the sidewalk at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. They were given written warnings.

10:14 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a phone found in the 1500 block of Mid Valley Drive. It was discovered after snow had melted.

11:24 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious person near mile marker 141 on U.S. Highway 40.

11:34 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of bears that repeatedly were getting into trash cans in the 1500 block of Meadow Lane.

11:36 a.m. Officers were called by an accountant to check on the welfare of a man in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The accountant was not aware the man had passed away.

12:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car crash at Spring Creek Trailhead.

12:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet lost in the 1600 block of Mid Valley Drive.

1:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man at Bud Werner Memorial Library who had warrants for his arrest.

1:28 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a reckless driver on Neptune Place near Clark. The person who reported the driver followed the car, and the driver supposedly threatened to kill the person.

1:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a porch swing missing from a home in the 800 block of West Hillside Court.

3:14 p.m. A found bike was turned in at the police station.

3:28 p.m. A found suitcase was turned in at the police station.

3:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a convenience store employee in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue who said his or her Subaru had been stolen. The convenience store employee located the Subaru on a lift at the auto shop behind the store, and mechanics were planning to replace the timing belt. The mechanics were servicing the wrong Subaru, and it was identical to another Subaru that someone had dropped off for repairs. The keys worked on both Subarus.

4:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

7:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

8:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the first block of Hemlock Court.

11:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person driving a dirt bike around without its lights on at West End Village.
