Steamboat's Alpine Lumber burglarized again

— Alpine Lumber in Steamboat Springs has been burglarized again.

Steamboat Springs Police Department officer Sam Silva said the burglary occurred overnight and was reported at about 9 a.m. Saturday.

Silva said someone forced his or her way into the building and stole about $2,000 in merchandise.

It is not known whether the burglary was related to the one that was discovered May 6. Several thousand dollars in merchandise was taken during that burglary.
