Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:32 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear getting into unsecured trash in the 2200 block of Val D’Isere Circle.

12:39 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to check on the welfare of a person at Routt County Roads 42 and 44.

7:37 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear getting into trash in the 100 block of Spruce Street. It is not known whether the trash was secured.

9:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 3000 block of Village Drive who lost a cellphone.

10:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had his or her Social Security number used on another person’s tax return.

11:16 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having a medical issue in the 1800 block of Alexander Way.

1:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog running loose on Lincoln Avenue near Dream Island Plaza.

1:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of several loose dogs at Après Ski and Alpenglow ways.

1:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog running loose in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:28 p.m. Officers contacted a drunken person at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue. The person was given a ride home.

5:32 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car weaving near mile marker 129 on U.S. Highway 40. The 81-year-old male driver was contacted, and he said he was trying to find a hotel. He was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

5:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of five tires worth $1,000 stolen in the 3300 block of Sunburst Court.

7:12 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who had a suspected stroke or head injury in the 2600 block of Après Ski Way.

11:18 p.m. Deputies were called to investigate a suspicious car at Dry Lake Campground.
