The Heritage Christian School Board would like to update the community on our improved financial situation for the next school year. A few weeks ago, there was an article in the paper stating that without additional enrollment and/or funds, we may not be able to continue operations as a K-12 school.
We are encouraged and excited to announce that with a substantial increase in enrollment, generous caring donations and a large donation of $65,000, we have reduced the deficit of $260,000 to $78,000. We have come so far in such a short amount of time. We are so blessed by the community that has supported Christian education. We still need to close this $78,000 gap by May 15 so we can continue to operate as a K-12 school, and we are prayerful that this will be accomplished.
We are so grateful to all of our current families, new families and supporting members of the community. To learn more about our school, or to make a donation, call 970-879-1760 or visit www.heritagesteamboat.org.
