Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an accident at Après Ski Way and Val D’Isere Circle. A ticket was issued.

8:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man trespassing at a restaurant in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. A transient man was found sleeping, and he created a disturbance when he was awoken. He was arrested on suspicion of third-degree trespassing and violating bail bond conditions.

8:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a passport found in the 900 block of Pamela Lane. It was returned to the owner.

12:31 p.m. A person came to the police department and reported his or her Social Security number had been used on another person's taxes.

3:27 p.m. Officers contacted a juvenile at Steamboat Springs Middle School regarding drugs.

4:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 2000 block of Clubhouse Drive. It was someone hired to do construction work.

5:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a backpack that had been lost May 2 in the area of Marketplace Plaza.

9:43 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a woman seen pushing her bike up Fish Creek Falls Road. She could not be found.

10:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a blue truck that hit a car and then drove away at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

10:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a clerk who was concerned about two drunken people who left a convenience store in the first block of Anglers Drive.

10:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of car driving on the center line at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue. The car could not be found.

11:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken female who refused to leave a bar in the 800 block of Yampa Street. She left when officers arrived.
