Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:15 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a $400 Trek bike stolen in the 1400 block of 13th Street.

10:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient man using the showers at a bank in the 2100 block of Resort Drive.

11:45 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a reckless driver near mile marker 115 on U.S. Highway 40.

11:53 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 300 block of Seventh Street who had his or her Social Security number used on another person's tax return.

1:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person walking around a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive with an exposed handgun. That is not illegal, and management was going to decide whether to allow guns in the store.

3:02 p.m. Officers spoke to a transient man at the police station who was trying to decide where to live this summer. Police are reminding residents to lock their doors.

4:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 700 block of Sandhill Circle who had his or her Social Security number used on another person's tax return.

6:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 700 block of Sandhill Circle who had his or her Social Security number used on another person's tax return. Police are investigating the incidents.

9:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who heard gunshots in the 800 block of Mountain Village Circle. They were unable to find the source of the shots.

9:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who heard gunshots in the 3300 block of Covey Circle. They were unable to find the source of the shots.

10:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that crashed into the ditch at 12th Street and Crawford Avenue. The 23-year-old male driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se and careless driving.

10:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza.
