Police, fire and ambulance calls
5:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a person who was found sleeping in a bus shelter at Shield Drive and Curve Court.
5:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of loud yelling and music in the 400 block of Ore House Plaza. The people were told to be quiet.
6:43 a.m. Officers contacted a man sleeping in a van in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
7:21 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who found a wallet in his or her yard in the 400 block of Dabney Lane.
8:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found in the 1100 block of Natures Lane.
9:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was upset at someone who he thought stole his phone in the 2700 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The phone had been turned in to a construction foreman and had not been stolen.
10:07 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had his or her Social Security number used on another person's taxes.
10:41 a.m. A person came to the police department and wanted to speak to an officer about his or her alcoholic mother-in-law who had driven the previous night.
12:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a TV and VCR that had been dumped by a fence in the first block of Missouri Avenue.
3:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who had been cut off by a silver truck at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue.
11:54 p.m. Officers contacted the driver of a suspicious car in the 2100 block of Downhill Drive. A man was waiting for his wife.
