Steamboat Springs State Rep. Scott Tipton, R-Cortez, will be in Steamboat on Tuesday to meet with seniors, the Routt County Board of Commissioners and the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club.
Tipton will meet with the Routt County Board of Commissioners from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Hearing Room at the Routt County Courthouse, 522 Lincoln Ave. Then he’ll join seniors during the Routt County Council on Aging senior lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Steamboat Springs Community Center, 1605 Lincoln Ave. The pulled-pork sandwich lunch costs $3 for those 60 and older and $6 for those younger than 60. A meal reservation is required by calling the Council on Aging at 970-879-0633. Tipton’s final Steamboat stop will be a meeting with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Winter Sports Club office, 845 Howelsen Hill Parkway.
Tipton heads Wednesday to Craig, where residents are invited to meet the representative during the Coffee with Congressman Tipton event from 8 to 9 a.m. at Cool Water Grille, 337 W. Victory Way.
Additional Craig stops include a meeting with the Moffat County Commission from noon to 1 p.m. in the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way, and a meeting with the Bureau of Land Management Hotshots fire crew from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Little Snake Field Office, 455 Emerson St.
