Steamboat Springs Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:15 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
12:34 a.m. Police were called to a report of a male who jumped off a city bus at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue and refused to get back on. His friend called police to locate him, but they were unable to find the man.
1:45 a.m. The same person who called about his friend getting off the bus called police to check on someone in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was left with someone who was sober.
9 a.m. Police were called to a report of a burglary in the 2300 block of Val D’Isere Circle, where someone entered a home and stole a handgun, among other items. There were no signs of forced entry, police said. Police are investigating.
2:42 p.m. Police were called to a report of a male and female yelling at each other in the police department lobby. The male was arrested on suspicion of harassment.
4:07 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car noninjury crash in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue. There was minor damage to both cars and no injuries.
7:08 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies, Colorado State Patrol troopers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a car crash at mile marker 144 on U.S. Highway 40.
9:29 p.m. Police were called to a report of a person who didn’t pay for gas in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police located the driver, and he or she returned to pay.
10:09 p.m. Deputies helped a driver who slid off Routt County Road 36 on the way to Strawberry Park Hot Springs.
