Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:12 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who had fainted in the 1800 block of Medicine Springs Drive.

7:45 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers recovered a stolen car in the 1800 block of Elk River Plaza.

9:58 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a car on fire in the Hayden High School parking lot. The fire was put out, and it is suspected it started under the hood.

10:23 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was having a medical problem in the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:57 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 1800 block of Burgess Creek Road.

11:54 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a crash near mile marker 53 on Colorado Highway 131. About 10 other crashes occurred during the day, but no serious injuries were reported.

2:25 p.m. West Routt firefighters were called to help a diabetic person in the 1100 block of West Jefferson Avenue.

2:30 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was having difficulty breathing in the 1300 block of Overlook Drive.

4:31 p.m. A found passport and wallet were turned in at the police station.

7:10 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a woman in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. She was fine.

8:46 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car near mile marker 144 on U.S. Highway 40.

9:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a group of people that broke a window at a bar at a hotel in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way.
