Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a drunken man at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. The man was taken to detox.
1:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a jacket stolen at a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street. It was later found.
3:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person passed out on a bus at Curve Court and Lincoln Avenue. The person was given a ride to their mother’s house.
3:17 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at a hotel in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man and woman reportedly had put $50 in the hotel office and took a key to a room. They thought it was a privilege afforded to local residents needing a place to stay. The couple then used the key to get into a room, and there was a man sleeping in the room. Police were able to identify the woman involved because she left her cellphone in the office. She was issued a summons for trespassing.
8 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
9:39 a.m. Officers were called to check on a woman who had fallen and hit her head in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
10:33 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue.
11:08 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person that had unauthorized charges on their credit card. The person later realized they were responsible for the charges.
3:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver that almost caused an accident at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue.
4:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of suspected children who were making prank phone calls to 911 using a cell phone in the area of Emerald Park. They could not be found.
7:02 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a 14-year-old girl who was dizzy and had muscle cramps at the Tennis Center at Steamboat Springs.
9:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an ongoing barking dog issue in the 3300 block of Après Ski Way.
