Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:56 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to check on a drunken woman who was refusing to go home with her friends at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

2:50 a.m. Officers contacted a person who was sleeping in his or her car at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

3:18 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The man was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center. At 4:58 a.m., officers were called to help security officers at YVMC because the man was being difficult.

8:33 a.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who possibly had a stroke in the 56700 block of Owl Drive.

11:15 a.m. A person came to the police station and said they saw someone in Steamboat who they thought was on the FBI’s most wanted list.

11:34 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suicide attempt in a subdivision west of Steamboat.

12:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of graffiti in the 2500 block of West Acres Drive.

12:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who spit on someone’s car at Lincoln Avenue and Dream Island Plaza.

1:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a body found at a hotel in the 1000 block of Walton Creek Road. Police are investigating it as a possible homicide.

2:40 p.m. Officers received an anonymous tip from a person who wanted to report that last year a person in Steamboat raised $7,000 by fraudulently telling people he or she had cancer.

4:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who received a $50 grocery store gift card in the mail and the gift card did not work.

6:06 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who was having a seizure in the 300 block of East First Street.

6:08 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a gas leak in the 500 block of Anglers Court.

6:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 2600 block of Iris Lane.

8:21 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a drunken person passed out on a bus at the Gondola Transit Center. The person was taken to detox.

8:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had things stolen from his or her locker at a gym in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:43 p.m. Officers were called to check on a drunken woman at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue. The woman had reportedly fell on a median, there was dirt on her face and she was crying. She was taken to detox.

11:03 p.m. Officers were called to check on a drunken person in the 2500 block of Pine Grove Road. The person could not be found.
