2012 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School, freshman at George Fox College
Diehl walked on to the Bruins' team on a whim, but earned a spot and has been playing doubles for the squad. She’s 4-2 on the season, most recently earning a split in a two-match day, losing 2-8 to a team from Whitman, and then winning 8-0 against a pair from College of Idaho.
Charlie Smith, tennis
2009 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School, senior at Guilford College
Smith, teamed with Erik Meiler, lost a No. 1 doubles match, 8-2, to a pair from Bridgewater. The team lost the dual, 2-7, to slip to 3-4 on the year and 2-2 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
Carly Fox, crew
2011 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School, sophomore at the University of Puget Sound
Fox has made the top eight-woman boat for Puget Sound and will be in it for the team’s first two regattas, starting March 16 with the Governor’s Cup against Willamette. Fox started rowing as a freshman for Puget Sound, whose varsity eight has made 10 consecutive appearances in the NCAA Division III championships.
