A Greyhound bus caught fire on U.S. Highway 40 west of Craig on Friday after a tire failed. None of the 17 passengers or the driver was injured.

Craig No one was injured when a Greyhound bus caught fire west of Craig on Friday afternoon.
The bus was traveling east on U.S. Highway 40 when one of the rear tires blew. The driver pulled to the side of the road, and then the bus caught fire at about 2:19 p.m., according to Colorado State Patrol troopers on scene.
All of the 17 passengers and the driver got safely off the bus, which was traveling from Salt Lake City to Steamboat Springs, according to the State Patrol. The passengers were taken to the Greyhound station in Craig.
Craig Fire Rescue responded to the incident but could not be reached late Friday for comment.
