Steamboat Springs Police, fire and ambulance calls
Midnight Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a pedestrian who was hit by a truck in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The 55-year-old Steamboat man was seriously injured, but his injuries were not thought to be life threatening. The driver was not cited because police think the pedestrian was at fault.
12:13 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash near mile marker 129 on U.S. Highway 40. There were six other noninjury crashes during the day.
2:42 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who was having abdominal pain in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
10:04 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a cat that had been stuck in a tree for a day in the 200 block of Arthur Avenue.
12:25 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident at the Routt County Justice Center.
12:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost his or her driver's license and needed to document the loss in order to board a plane.
12:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a stolen wallet.
2:01 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who was being harassed at the Routt County Justice Center.
3:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged in the 200 block of Park Avenue.
4:49 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who tried to break into an outbuilding in the 32600 block of Routt County Road 20.
8:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a white van that was tailgating and passing in a no-passing zone on U.S. 40 west of Steamboat.
10:26 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was sick in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
